With frequent use or if they become dirty, the adhesive strength of the Geckos can diminish somewhat. Fortunately, the adhesive side can be easily cleaned with a little detergent and water. Then allow the motifs to dry and gecko again with full adhesive power. Incidentally, it doesn't matter if the front of the Gecko parts also get wet during cleaning. We generally recommend cleaning the glass surfaces before Gecko decorating.

The quantity required depends on the motif, the window size and the arrangement of the motifs. Depending on how closely the parts are positioned, the requirement can vary greatly. If in doubt, we recommend starting with one set and then ordering additional sets as required.

The size of the parts is different for each motif set. The inside of the packaging measures 15 x 19.5 cm. There is plenty of room for all the parts. Most of the pieces are much smaller. The smallest part of the BUBBLES motif set, for example, has a diameter of 25 mm.

Yes, this is generally not a problem. Of course, the parts should be applied on the dry glass side. We recommend ensuring that the humidity in wet rooms is below 60% to prevent mold from forming on the parts. Here you can find an example of the application on a shower partition wall.

The GECKO fabric is generally intended for indoor use. On the inside of the glass in your conservatory, window decoration with GECKO IN THE BOX may be possible depending on the humidity. It is simply a matter of avoiding permanently high humidity so that the parts are not damaged. A shorter service life may be expected in this area of application.

Parts that have been attached to the glass for more than 1-2 years and have been exposed to strong sunlight can actually develop a strong adhesion. Sometimes this adhesion is so strong that the parts tear when they are removed. This problem mainly occurs with privacy screen motifs that remain in the same position for longer. For long-term use, we recommend arranging the motifs in such a way that they can be left in place for several years. This problem does not occur with seasonal motif sets, which are only applied for a few weeks or a few months.
